삼양금속공업(대표이사 서진민)은 지난 10월 12일 부산 사하구청을 방문해 지역 내 어려운 이웃을 돕기 위한 성금 1,000만 원을 전달했습니다. 

이날 전달식에는 서진민 대표이사와 김태석 사하구청장이 함께했습니다.

기탁한 성금은 사하구의 '사하 희망두레박 사업'에 쓰일 예정입니다. 

이 사업은 두레박 계좌로 모은 지역 후원금으로 기금을 마련하고, 매년 심사를 거쳐 선정된 구 복지사업과 사회복지관, 상담센터 등 지역 복지기관의 사업을 지원하는 프로그램입니다. 

성금은 지역 취약계층을 돕고 복지 사각지대를 줄이는 데 사용됩니다.

서진민 대표이사는 물가 상승과 경기 둔화로 어려움을 겪는 이웃들에게 이번 성금이 조금이나마 힘이 되기를 바란다며, 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 나눔을 꾸준히 실천하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔습니다.

삼양금속공업은 1981년 부산에서 출발한 기업으로서 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 것을 중요한 가치로 여기고 있습니다. 

이번 기탁 외에도 사하구청 정구팀을 후원하는 등 지역 체육 발전을 위한 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.

앞으로도 삼양금속공업은 지역 이웃과 함께하는 기업으로서 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 펼쳐 나가겠습니다.

On October 12, 2026, Samyang Metal Ind. Co., Ltd. (CEO Jinmin Seo) donated KRW 10 million to the Saha-gu District Office in Busan to support neighbors in need. CEO Jinmin Seo and Saha-gu Mayor Tae-seok Kim attended the donation ceremony at the district office. 

The donation will go to the Saha Hope Dure-bak Program, a local welfare initiative funded by community contributions. Each year, the program reviews and selects welfare projects run by the district, social welfare centers, and counseling centers, and provides them with funding. The donation will help vulnerable residents and reach people who may otherwise fall through the gaps of existing welfare services.

CEO Jinmin Seo said he hoped the donation would bring some relief to neighbors facing hardship from rising living costs and the economic slowdown. He added that Samyang Metal will continue to share with and stand alongside the local community.

As a Busan-based manufacturer, Samyang Metal believes in growing together with the community it calls home. In addition to this donation, the company also sponsors the Saha-gu District Office soft tennis team as part of its support for local sports.

Samyang Metal will continue its social contribution activities as a responsible member of the local community.
